CPC Design Team

I am so pleased to introduce to you our Design Team

!

Michelle

!
Mish, wife to 1, mum to 4.  She lives in the wheatbelt of WA on the family farm.

Mish started scrapping in late 2003, after finally giving in and attending a CM party, she had put this off for years as her films when developed often contained 2 or 3 years birthday parties.  Since discovering scrapbooking she now takes over 1000 photos a year. The main inspiration of Mish's layouts are her kids, and her pets.  Although she now is tending to scrap more about her history and things that she feels will mean more to her kids once she is gone.

Mish discribes her style as "Evolving" with always trying new products and techniques, but often reverts back to her favourite classical style of scrapping.  Lately though she tends to collect more supplies than she scraps with.

Mish helps with the running of the gallery, the forum, the newsletter and updating the blog.

Leonie

!
Leonie resides in Port Pirie, South Australia, with Scott, her husband, Kloe her daughter, Jack her son.  Leonie has another baby due soon. Leonie was one of the original Guest Designers, and was excited when we asked her to join the Design Team permanently in January this year. She describes her scrapping style as ecelectic, always changing and evolving. Leonie has been scrapping about 4 years. Her favourite technique is stamping, with so many yummy stamps around at the moment, why wouldnt it be.  Her Rhonna stamps are constantly being used,  stamping the design onto cardstock, then cutting out the stamp and using it on her layouts. When asked what her favourite product was, she answered "Bazzill Cardstock, it has so many uses!"

Michelle AKA Mrs frizz

!

My name is Michelle and guess what ... I'm a little bit of a scrapaholic.  On the forum I go by the name of Mrs Frizz.

I'm married to the love of my life and have been forever and we have two wonderful children; our eldest is 21 and at uni and our youngest is 15, at high school.

I work full time as an executive assistant and when I'm not at work or running around after our youngest, you will find me in my scrappy mess, and I'm honest, it truly is a scrappy mess.  But it’s all mine and if anyone is looking for me, they know where to find me.

I love playing with paper ... oops ... that should read, I love being creative with paper!  It's my 'me' time.  It’s what I do, to chill out, shall we say.

I also love taking photos and will be forever thankful to whoever it was that invented the digital camera.  Shame though that the digital camera wasn’t around when my children were younger.

Paper, photos and scrapping supplies ... what more could a girl want?  Well ... perhaps a few flowers!!!

Lee

!

Lee lives on The Farm in the Riverina region of NSW, is married to The Farmer (Geoff), mum to The Princess (Ivy - 9) and to The Destroyer (Baxter - nearly 4), who works part time for “the government” and really enjoys things like travel, reading, vampire shows (True Blood is her fave), listening to Triple J and indy rock music, pretending she can surf, running, a good chardonnay and lots of chocolate (she says she needs to run more as a result...!).

Lee started scrapping at the obligatory CM party way back in 2004 which totally played up to her love of paper and stationery and photos, and needless to say once she found the online scrapping world and combined all three, she hasn’t looked back! Lee loves the wider online funky crafting arena, and hopes to learn to knit something other than a scarf, and sew things (besides her layouts) this year. Lee has an eclectic style, and admits she is totally and utterly obsessed with label stickers, tiny alphas, and decorative tape.

Rach

!
This month we welcome to the Design Team RACHAEL DONEY. Rach hails from Esperance where she has lived for the past 23 years. 16 years ago settled down and married the love of her life, together they are raising 4 gorgeous children,  a daughter and 3 sons. Rach manages the local school canteen to support her scrapping obsession!

Rach began scrapping whilst pregnant with her youngest son. Because we do not have a bricks and mortar store in Esperance, and there wasn't a scrapping group formed then either, Rach says she basically taught herself to scrap which was very simplistic, imagine 4 x 6 photos, rounded corners, plain matting on patterned paper.  But that all changed when Marg (who was then my Enjo Manager) invited her to a camp in Bruce Rock with 100 strangers! She went along and learned so much. Rach still continues to go to the Scrap Camps being held in Bruce Rock, once or twice  a year just to learn new ideas and techniques and meet new people.

Rach doesn't consider her scrapping to be of any particular style, saying it changes constantly.  She likes to keep her layouts simple, and tries to do her simple very well.  Rach says she is a typical Capricorn, and likes to keep all her stuff for a rainy day! But she says she loves patterned papers - and has way too many, but always never has the one that she needs!
